Beyond Interpretation is an ongoing screening series of independent American cinema, spotlighting the intersections of paranoia and conspiracy with the challenges of creating art on the margins of the industry.

With a few exceptions Beyond Interpretation champions films without traditional distribution deals, giving projects new opportunities to be seen outside their immediate circles that may otherwise not come up.

Through one-off theatrical engagements, Beyond Interpretation aims to connect new and exciting films with audiences eager to see something they might not get the chance to see in a cinema again, and contribute to ongoing conversations about the conditions that prevent and enable films on the margins of the industry to be seen.
